Nepal lost a thriller by just 3 runs: Scotland vs Nepal



Nepal lost First ICC World Cricket league Championship by thriller 3 runs against Scotland in Ayr. Chasing the challenging target of 236 runs, Nepal made 232 runs losing five wickets. Opener Anil Mandal scored highest 97 runs off 90 runs that comprised nine fours and one six. Skipper Paras Khadka score 78 runs off 57 balls, hitting two sixes and five fours in the process. Another opener Mahesh Chhetri scored 21 runs off 31 balls. 

Earlier, The home team posted 235-run on board for the loss of seven wickets with skipper Preston Mommsen contributing highest 78 runs off 62 balls that included five fours and four sixes. Skipper Paras Khadka and Basanta Regmi bagged two wickets each for Nepal
