"Hundred Wickets in WCL Division" World record holder, Basant Regmi is initially a Left Hand Fast Bowler. Currently, he is bowling left arm orthodox. Earlier Basant Regmi was dangerous pace bowler but after accident he became DOUBLY DANGEROUS spinner.

Regmi entered the Nepalese cricketing arena as a left-armed fast bowler with a reputation for swinging the ball both ways. However, he suffered a motorbike accident, which left a significant impact in his career. The accident left Regmi with a broken finger and caused him to change his bowling action, shifting from fast bowling to finger spin.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said the right to determine the countrys ruling system totalitarianism or democracy is in the hand of the people.In his domicile to an election assembly organised at Bhanu Municipality-12 in Tanahu by the Nepali Congress today, party President Deuba said, Only democracy is delightful for the nation and thats why I urge the people to vote for the democratic candidates in the election. बंगलादेशमा भएको गत टीट्वेन्टी विश्वकपमा टीट्वेन्टी मान्यता नेपालसँग नभए पनि त्यहाँ खेलेका तीन खेलमा टीट्वेन्टी अन्तर्राष्ट्रियको मान्यता पाएको थियो। त्यसपछि आईसीसीको बोर्ड बैठकले नेपाल र नेदरल्यान्ड्सलाई टीट्वेन्टी अन्तर्राष्ट्रियको मान्यता दिएको थियो। त्यसयता नेपालले हङकङसँग एक खेल र नेदरल्यान्ड्ती संग तिन खेलको शृंखला खेल्यो। टीट्वेन्टी विश्वकप छनोट प्रतियोगितामा कमजोर प्रदर्शनसँगै नेपालको टीट्वेन्टी अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मान्यता गुमेको छ। विश्वकप छनोट यात्रा समाप्त भएसँगै नेपालले टीट्वेन्टी अन्तर्राष्ट्रियको मान्यता पनि गुमाएको हो। यद्यपि नेपाल आईसीसीको मुख्य वरीयतामा भने रहिरहनेछ।
