EC fixes polling centres

The Election Commission has regulate 3,578 polling centres for the third phase of local polls going on in 136 local levels of eight districts in Province 2 almost September 18. The districts including Sarlahi, Saptari, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Rautahat, Siraha, Bara, and Parsa are holding the local level elections.Among these districts, Sarlahi has the maximum 20 levels and Mahottari has the least 15 levels.According to EC Spokesperson Surya Prasad Sharma, on summit of 31,000 human resources including employees and volunteers were breathing thing deputed to assist the elections.A sum of 2,664,950 eligible voters would be electing 6,627 their representatives for one metropolitan city, three sub-metropolitan cities, 73 municipalities and 59 rural municipalities.
